Dave Winer is requesting comments on his suggestion to merge RSS with Atom. This is obviously just a rough sketch of how the merger would work and it needs a lot of filling out, but at least it’s a start. Let’s hope that this time the Hatfields and the McCoys the Atom folks and the RSS folks will drop the childish bickering and personal attacks that have hindered past discussions

FWIW, if this merger actually happens, I’ll certainly support it in FeedDemon.
