  1. So, it removes the carrot from the equation, but it doesn’t address the problem of having links to adult or otherwise worthless content in the comments on my site.
    In other words, sure some spammers will think, well, I guess I won’t do that since it doesn’t help my Google rank, but it will still get their URL out there for some unsuspecting reader to click on.
    I see this as one half of the equation and it’s a great start.
