Twittering at SXSW

I’ll be at SXSW for the next few days, and I’m giving Twitter a try while I’m here to keep up with other attendees. If you want to keep tabs on me, my Twitter name is “nbradbury” (and here’s my Twitter RSS feed).

Note to the Twitter devs: When using IE, mousing over someone’s avatar shows the name of the image file instead of their user name.

Update: I’m leaving SXSW soon, and I’m no longer Twittering. It was fun while I was here, but at least for now, Twitter isn’t something I’d really want to use outside of a tech conference.

  1. LOL – Once I read this you were the first one I was going to follow…then I read that you’ve given up on Twitter – oh well! Looking forward to the latest version of FD

  2. Sorry ’bout that, Jim :) I figured I’d try Twitter while I was here at SXSWi just to learn more about it, but in the end I decided it wasn’t something I’d want to use outside of a tech conference.

  3. Heh! My wife has been obsessing about twitter the whole time but I just don’t get it either — at SXSW it was fun, anywhere else I don’t see the point.
BTW, Nick, your “Indie Developer” panel was one of the best of this year’s show. As a fellow work-from-home developer I found the whole thing very inspiring.

  4. Glad to hear that, Michael! Despite my nervousness, I actually enjoyed being on the panel, and it’s nice to know that it was well-received.
