Back in March, NewsGator announced that we’d acquired SmartRead and brought developer Kevin Cawley on board. Kevin was tasked with integrating his mobile RSS reader with NewsGator’s synchronization service, enabling customers to keep their feeds synched between their mobile device and any of NewsGator’s products (NewsGator Online, NewsGator Inbox, NetNewsWire and FeedDemon).

Looks like Kevin has been busy, because last week we announced the first beta of our mobile RSS reader. If you have a Windows Mobile device and understand the usual warnings about using beta software, you can sign-up to give it a test drive.
